Garden Kitchen is now in its second week of business and things are going great! The response to our food and the casual outdoor dining atmosphere has been overwhelmingly positive, and it’s been so nice to see the Rolando neighbors coming in to support us along with people making the drive to visit from other parts of the city.
We are continuing this week with dinners from 5PM – 8PM, Tuesday through Saturday, and are looking to expand hours in the near future. This weekend we will be serving a special event Memorial Day Weekend Sunday Brunch from 9AM – 1PM. Reservations are available and walk ins are always welcome.
On the patio we have recently added a few more wooden tables that have been custom built by a Rolando neighbor using all reclaimed wood. Since the weather has brought cooler evenings, we also added two heaters which help keep the chill away. The plants we brought in to decorate the patio are doing well, and with some flowers in bloom a few bees found us which adds a nice garden touch.
If you are not already following on social media, be sure to check us out. We post our menus daily and always try to put up a few photos of our food to whet your appetites. For the upcoming weekend meals we’re looking to have boneless New York strip steak and fresh caught fish, and for Sunday Brunch, banana bread french toast, fluffy biscuits and gravy, and of course pork belly.
When you are in a rush and don’t have time to dine in, you can always get something quick from the “to go” fridge which we keep stocked with soups, salads, entrees, desserts and more. Our entire menu is also available to go.
