We hope you are enjoying the cooler weather that has arrived here in San Diego. It’s certainly refreshing after the long, hot summer we had. Let us remind you, even with the temperature change it’s still great for outdoor dining! We bought more heaters, pulled the fuzzy blankets out, and people have still been enjoying great meals on our patio.
We’ll be starting this week off with Italian Night on Tuesday the 10th. The menu is available on our website and Facebook. (Hint: Pumpkin Stuffed Raviolis, Italian Minestrone Soup, Housemade Spaghetti & Meatballs, Ice Cream & much more …. yum!) In the previous newsletter we mentioned that we were trying out some new items- we had our new bison short ribs on last week and sold out! If you missed them keep an eye out, it was a hit so we’ll definitely be serving them again. We also have a new 12oz Boneless Ribeye which you will see on this Friday’s menu.
Even with the onset of fall, the daytime weather is still warm and beautiful. Our next brunch is Sunday, November 15, from 9am – 1pm, and it looks like the weather will be perfect for you to join us. It’s a bye week for the Chargers so there is no excuse not to get out and have some Sunday morning fun. We will be having fresh squeezed OJ and mimosas, pour over coffee & housemade hot chocolate. Additional items that you will see on the menu are huevos rancheros over sopes, peanut butter waffles and pork belly donuts.
For those who shop in our “to go” fridge, this will likely be the last week you’ll see our 7 Hour Marinara sauce since tomatoes won’t be as plentiful through the winter. We also have a second batch of fire cider (anti cold remedy) that will be ready on Friday 13th. Lastly, with Thanksgiving nearly upon us, we want to let you know that we will be open normal hours on Wednesday 11/25, but will then be closed for the remainder of the weekend from Thursday 26th thru Monday 30th, reopening Tuesday December 1. It will be a weekend of family, relaxation and much needed rest for us and our great employees.
