As the weather finally cools down we are now heading into our sixth month of business! It's hard to believe, and we could not be doing it without our faithful regulars, as well as all the friendly new followers that have been joining us for dinner. We’re proud to announce that with all of your wonderful feedback on Yelp we are now rated as one of the top restaurants in East San Diego! At Garden Kitchen we strive to constantly keep things fresh with a menu that highlights great local Suzie's Farm produce, and in addition to our quality meats we've been adding more seafood entrees, opting for sustainably sourced options from Catalina Offshore Products. Most of you know that we now also have our beer & wine license and have been offering local beers and wines. Full Moon, Burgers, and Father’s Day
We've now been open for business for over three weeks! After taking Sunday and Monday off we're gearing up for another great week starting with Burger Night tonight, Tuesday. As you know we do everything from scratch, and this will be no exception, right down to the brioche buns and sweet pickles! We'll have some gourmet burger combinations for you and will have free range beef, "never ever" chicken, and vegetarian patties available. Each day we're making more progress at the restaurant, we mentioned last newsletter that we added two heaters, this week we've added some some bar stools to expand seating along the side of the patio. With the weather finally warming up and the days get longer, we've decided to expand dinner service from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, starting tonight!
