Summer Updates: Wine, Dinner, Date Night Package

Posted Aug 20,2020 0 comments

A lot has happened since our last newsletter. Restaurants re-opened for dine-in, only to then be ordered partially closed, with outdoor dining allowed only.

Covid-19 has made this an interesting summer to say the least, however we are moving forward doing what we do best. With outdoor dining allowed, our patio is open for dinner, and of course we are still offering safe takeout for those who prefer to stay in, now with curbside pickup. Dinner service begins at 4pm Wednesday through Saturday with reservations preferred (online or by phone), for takeout call anytime after 3pm to place your order and set your pick up time.

Our wine list is constantly growing, with over 50 bottles available! Wine can be purchased to go for 20% off, and if you want to beat the heat with a crisp white wine or rosé, we have plenty to choose from, as well as our house recipe Sangria!

If you enjoy our wine selections, consider our wine club. Megan, our house Sommelière, along with Coral the owner/ chef, hand pick three wines per month for just $50. Each month we include one local San Diego or Baja wine, along with other hand picked selections from around the world. Pickup is the first Wednesday of each month, with optional tastings available. For more details just mention it next time you’re in or contact us.

We are planning an upcoming seated (with socially distant spacing) Sunday Wine Dinner. Details are still being ironed out, but one thing we do know is the wine pairings will all be excellent selections from Baja. Tentative dates are late September or early October. If interested, ask when you visit or contact us and we’ll let you know when we have a date.

There is a new “date night package” available to-go, which is our famous Kitchen Sink plus a bottle of select white, red or rosé for just $40. Follow our Instagram and Facebook for details and updates regarding the select bottles.

As always, and now more than ever, we are EXTREMELY grateful for your support. When you come for dine in or pickup remember that masks are required, and we request that you abide by this rule in Garden Kitchen, for your safety and ours.

Stay safe and healthy!
