On Sunday, July 12 we will be having guest chef Rob Rubalcaba join us for a special 7 course reservation only Sushi Dinner featuring a Garden Theme complete with “Sushi Roses” and “Red Rain”. Dinner will be from 6PM-8PM, and the price is $50 per person and includes dinner, paired mocktails, and dessert. Rob Rubalcaba is an accomplished local San Diego Sushi Chef, and we’re sure that his sushi creations will amaze you. In 2012, Rob was trained under Warren Almeda (former executive sushi chef at Roppongi in La Jolla Cove). After practicing on many hungry friends and neighbors, Chef Tommy Fraioli invited Rob to be a guest chef at Sea Rocket Bistro in 2013. After Sea Rocket closed, Rob has hosted private dinners including a pop up capturing all five senses with craft beer, music mixes and sushi.
