Farm to Fork $40 Three Course Dinners, Fish Taco & Benchmark Beer Special!

After a great nine days off, the Garden Kitchen team is rested & relaxed! We’re back from our annual August break and with September upon us we have a few great reasons for you to join us this month.

We are launching a fantastic new “Fish Taco & A Benchmark Beer” Happy Hour special! In addition to our $5 wines & sangria, $4 beers & $3 off appetizers during Happy Hour, we are now offering a fresh catch tempura fried fish taco on a corn tortilla loaded with cheese, chipotle crema, fresh vegetables & house made hot sauce, paired with your choice of a Benchmark Brewing IPA, Table Beer or Brown Ale for just $10! This is only available during our Happy Hour, 3-5pm.

Starting on Tuesday September 11th and running through Saturday September 15th we will again be participating in the twice yearly Farm To Fork week. Farm to Fork is a chance to support local chefs and restaurants that have made a commitment to support local farms and purveyors. For the entire week we will be offering a $40 three course Farm to Table dinner option, in addition to our nightly a la carte menu. This prix fixe option includes your choice of a soup/salad/appetizer, choice of entree, and choice of dessert. We definitely recommend reservations if you plan to join us.

As part of our Farm To Fork celebration, on Wednesday September 12th Benchmark Brewing will be joining us for the release of their special Farm To Fork beer — their table beer brewed with Dickinson Farm fennel flowers! All of the night’s entrees will be created to showcase Benchmark Beer, we’ll have this special Fennel Flower Table Beer AND River Rye on draft, as well Hop Chunks IIPA, Oatmeal Stout, Blond Ale, Brown Ale & IPA in cans. Some beer inspired food selections will include beer roasted chicken, pork belly porchetta, pita & lentil patty, fresh catch fish tacos, oatmeal stout cake, and a Brewer’s Platter with beer boiled sausage, fried pickles, tempura fennel flower, brown ale mustard & more. Owners Matt & Rachael will be with us for most of the evening, and as always there will be gluten free & vegan/ vegetarian options available. Again, reservations are highly recommended!

As many of you know, we are in the process of expanding to include some more patio seating and a wine lounge. While we have hit a few unexpected delays, in anticipation of our wine lounge we’ve introduced an expanded wine menu to include a limited selection of wines from around the world. While our standard menu will always focus on what’s local, if you feel like exploring next time you’re in just ask for our “World Wine” menu!

As always thanks for your support and see you soon for your next Garden Kitchen meal!
