We hope you are healthy and happy during this difficult time. As we now know, the San Diego County Stay at Home order has been extended. For Garden Kitchen that means we’ll keep with what we’ve been doing, take out service only and all orders placed over the phone, setting each customer with a scheduled pick up time to ensure minimal contact with other guests. We’ve got our process finely tuned and have been getting great feedback from people when picking up their food. As a reminder, our phones open at 3PM Tuesday – Thursday to place orders, on Friday and Saturday we’re starting an hour early, opening phones at 2PM. Please be patient if you get a busy signal or no answer, we’re doing our best to get to everybody who calls. Each call can take several minutes, so PLEASE have your order and payment ready.
Onto the fun stuff! There likely won’t be dining on our patio any time soon, but we do have some exciting news as we head into May and our 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY month! We’ve got fantastic anniversary wines that we’ll be releasing next week. These wines will be perfect to enjoy for your Home Happy Hours, or with your Garden Kitchen dinners! Wine club members will get the sneak peek next week!
On Tuesday we’ll have our Cinco de Mayo menu for your quarantine celebrations. Expect carne asada, fish tacos, pork pibil, butternut squash chimichangas, chips & guacamole and more. Our signature sangria is available to go, as well as we’ll offer 25% off all our Mexican wines! We’ll start taking phone orders at 2PM on Tuesday (an hour earlier than normal) to be sure we can get all your orders in.
We will be OPEN for takeout on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 10th. The menu will be released by Monday, May 4th. Pre-orders can be made any day next week by phone, and pickup times will be available Sunday 12pm – 6pm. The menu will include our standard a la carte options as well as family style options.
As always, and now more than ever, we are EXTREMELY grateful for your support. When you come for pickup remember that masks are now required by the County when going out in public, and we request that you abide by this rule in Garden Kitchen, for your safety and ours.
Stay safe and healthy!
