Valentines & Upcoming Wine Dinner

We have a few quick updates for you... We're already booked for Valentine's Day, but we'll also be running our special Valentine's Day Menu on Tuesday 2/13. So if you want to celebrate a day early, this is your chance. On both days we'll have our special linens out, as well as candles and flowers, so they will be wonderful evenings. Expect to see Beef Tenderloin, Frenched Pork Chops, Vegan/ Vegetarian Risotto & Fresh Catch Seafood! Reservations are of course recommended. 619-431-5755. Our next Sunday Night Wine Dinner will be Sunday March 4 at 5PM, featuring wine from Edwards Vineyard and produce from Dickinson Farm. There will be 6 courses + 6 wines, the cost is $125 which includes tax + tip, reservations are required. Farm To Fork, Valentine’s, Wine Dinners & Our Expansion!

We hope you are recovered from the Holidays and ready to take on the New Year! At the restaurant we hosted a wonderful New Year’s Dinner to close out 2017 before taking a short winter break. The time off always allows us to look back at the previous year and gather inspiration moving into another year of business. We spent four days in Mexico, and our staff enjoyed the time off as well visiting places like San Francisco, Portugal, Napa, New York & Houston. The photo you see here is a vegetarian enmolada entree we served up our first week back, a direct testament to some inspiration gained while dining at one of our favorite restaurants in Mexico. We love our Latin influenced dishes and you can expect to see other new items show up on the menu in the coming weeks. December Events, Gift Ideas, New Year’s Eve

Here's hoping you had a great Thanksgiving! As we head into December we have some updates. Our next Sunday Night Wine Dinner is just around the corner on Sunday, December 10th at 5pm. The dinner will feature 7 courses paired with 7 estate wines from Fallbrook Winery. The produce will be sourced through Save Good Food, with much of it being grown in Fallbrook and Vista. With both the wine and produce coming from within 50 miles, this is yet another true farm to table dinner! The price is $100 which INCLUDES tax and tip. Reservations are required, call the restaurant to secure your reservation, as of now there are just a few seats left! Next Wednesday, December 6th will be the next of our monthly “Rainbow Happy Hours”, an event especially for our LGBTQ neighbors, friends & family, but of course all Garden Kitchen supporters are welcome! Upcoming events & some exciting news!

Hello Garden Kitchen Friends. We have a lot to share with you this month. In case you haven’t heard, we are expanding! Our location will remain the same, but our patio will be extended next door and we will add indoor dining options. These additions are still a few months out, but by next spring expect to see some exciting changes! With the extra storage space we also are planning to expand our wine options, so stay tuned. And rest assured, our normal business will not be affected in the meantime. Next week we'll being having our annual Local Lobster Nights on Wednesday Oct 25th & Thursday Oct 26th. We’ll have whole San Diego Spiny Lobsters on the menu, as well as champagne by the glass! Remember, Coral’s father is a commercial lobster fisherman, so this is her favorite event of the year!
