We hope you are healthy and happy during this difficult time. As we now know, the San Diego County Stay at Home order has been extended. For Garden Kitchen that means we’ll keep with what we’ve been doing, take out service only and all orders placed over the phone, setting each customer with a scheduled pick up time to ensure minimal contact with other guests. We’ve got our process finely tuned and have been getting great feedback from people when picking up their food. As a reminder, our phones open at 3PM Tuesday - Thursday to place orders, on Friday and Saturday we’re starting an hour early, opening phones at 2PM. Please be patient if you get a busy signal or no answer, we’re doing our best to get to everybody who calls. Each call can take several minutes, so PLEASE have your order and payment ready. Easter Sunday Dinner

Easter Sunday is almost here. We will be serving Easter Dinner for takeout. Our beautiful Easter dinner menu is posted here. Call the restaurant any day this week after 3PM to pre-order and arrange pick up time Sunday between 12pm and 7pm. We are still doing dinners for take out Tuesday through Saturday, and adapting to each new set of requirements that are put in place. Our process of taking orders and payment by phone and spacing pickup times has been working great, we are additionally sanitizing the pens and pickup station between each order to ensure everyone’s safety. This Monday the Health Department added more restrictions for essential businesses, the good news is that we already had all the appropriate protocols in place. We want to give you another quick update on what’s happening with Garden Kitchen amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. With the Governor’s stay in place order, restaurants are considered essential services, so we are hanging in there and continuing to crank out beautiful TO-GO dinners for our amazing supporters. We’re taking the sanitation and distancing guidelines seriously and have set up a streamlined system where we take orders and payment over the phone, space each pickup 10 minutes apart so there is minimal contact with other guests, and allow you to pick up right on the front patio for best spacial conditions, and nothing to touch other than your order. 2020 is off to a great start! We have a ton of fun news to fill you in on, and also a few things to look forward to.
