Beer Dinner, Mother’s Day & Anniversary Events!

Hello Garden Kitchen Friends,

It’s hard to believe that our TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY is right around the corner! So first things first: Thank you for your continued support and patience as we’ve grown to where we are today!

To kick off our anniversary month, we’re having our first ever beer pairing dinner on April 30 featuring our good friends at Benchmark Brewing and special guest chef Miguel Valdez, Executive Chef at The Red Door, another great farm to table restaurant here in San Diego. The dinner will feature 6 courses paired with 6 beers, with two seatings, 4PM and 7PM. Price is $100 which includes all food and drink, as well as tax and tip. Expect lots of good food and beer and plenty of fun! We have a few seats left at each seating, call the restaurant to make your reservation.

During the month of May you can look forward to seeing some of our favorite local wineries visiting us for a few special evenings to help us celebrate our anniversary month. Stay tuned for more details.

Another special event in May is Mother’s Day! We will be open on Sunday May 14th with a special Mother’s Day Dinner Menu, and will be accepting reservations from 5pm to 8:30pm. We will have a full a la carte menu, with plenty of special items to look forward to including steak, seafood & other farm fresh entrees. Not to mention a Mother’s Day Dessert Surprise!

At the end of the month after all of our celebrating, we will be taking a long Memorial Day Weekend, closed Saturday May 27 – Monday May 29th. So be sure to join us on Friday night to kick off your Holiday weekend festivities!

With the cold weather and rain behind us we want to remind you that we are open for Happy Hour every Tuesday – Saturday, 3PM to 5PM. In addition to $4 beers and $5 select glasses of wine, we offer $20 sangria pitchers and $3 off appetizers. We removed some of the weatherproofing we had up for the winter so you can enjoy now the nice spring breeze on our patio. Don’t forget that we also now have fresh seafood from Catalina Offshore every Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
